Fable 5.1 Is Now Available on Filot
Anthropic's newest frontier model is now available on Filot. It leads our internal evaluations on long-running financial modeling tasks, and discounted prompt cache reads make it cheaper to run than Fable 5.
Fable 5.1, Anthropic's newest frontier model, is now available on Filot. Workspaces with Fable 5 enabled have their MAX mode upgraded automatically. For everyone else it remains opt-in, and nothing changes. Fable 5.1 leads our internal evaluations on long-running financial modeling tasks: three-statement builds, earnings updates, DCF and LBO work. It is 3% more accurate than Fable 5, with Claude Opus 5 a close second. These are the builds where an early error compounds through everything downstream.
It is also cheaper. Anthropic discounted prompt cache reads for 5.1, and Filot makes aggressive use of prompt caching, so financial modeling workflows see an immediate drop in inference cost compared to Fable 5.
