Introducing Financial Modeling Autopilot
Autopilot is the financial modeling infrastructure that enables teams to scale their unique edge.
Today we're launching Financial Modeling Autopilot, the first AI that updates your financial models without you having to ask, or open Excel.
Until now, the best way to use AI in finance was a copilot. That's how we started, with an Excel add-in that learns how you model and helps you work faster. But a copilot waits to be asked. Someone still has to open each model and start the work, for every name in a packed earnings season.
Autopilot makes that work easier to scale across your entire coverage, acting on your behalf in the background. It is core infrastructure for the investment research workflow, starting with the financial model.
What Autopilot Does
Autopilot connects to your models in OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive. It works with SEC releases, global filings, transcripts, presentations, and internal docs. It also integrates with the data providers you already use, like CapIQ, and Visible Alpha for estimates.
- Follows the earnings calendar. When a company reports or files, Autopilot picks up the new materials and updates the model, then emails you when it's ready for review. No prompt needed.
- Runs in parallel. Each task gets its own computer, so agents work across your whole book at once and keep going while you're away.
- Builds new models. When you expand coverage, Autopilot creates each new model from your coverage template, then maintains it.
- Monitors your metrics. It flags changes across coverage, such as a decline in a KPI you track.
Scaling Your Edge
We found analysts can only truly scale their work using AI if it is fully able to replicate their methodology, style and way of building models. Filot uses a reinforcement feedback loop to learn how each analyst builds models until it's able to confidently replicate them, which is the true enabler for doing this at scale.
"Our investors each have their own way of building models, and now Filot actually replicates that. Each person on my team can cover significantly more names than before."

Every Number Traces to Its Source
Work done on your behalf has to be work you can stand behind. Deterministic validation checks confirm everything ties out, and Autopilot flags restatements, reporting changes and anything that needs your judgment. Every updated cell traces back to its exact source, so you can audit the work in minutes. You choose how involved to be.
How Teams Use It
On the Buy Side
Asset managers. Portfolio teams keep the model behind every holding current, so reviews start from the latest quarter. Credit teams get peer comparisons refreshed automatically as issuers file.
Hedge funds. Analysts spin up models in their exact methodology to test ideas and expand coverage, then carry more names because Autopilot handles earnings updates.
On the Sell Side
Equity research. Analysts scale their research to more names. Initiations are built exactly as they would build them, and each model updates when the company reports, so their time goes into work that wasn't previously possible due to time constraints, to improve and differentiate their research.
Investment banking. Coverage teams keep comparable company analyses and company models current in the bank's own template as comps report and file, so pitch and deal materials start from updated numbers.
Autopilot is already live at select banks, asset managers and hedge funds. To see Autopilot run on your own models, request a demo below.
