Filot Announces Data Integration with S&P Global Market Intelligence
Filot now integrates S&P Capital IQ Pro and Visible Alpha data from S&P Global Market Intelligence, applying their formulas seamlessly into financial modeling work.
Filot now integrates S&P Capital IQ Pro and Visible Alpha data from S&P Global Market Intelligence, and applies it for you as part of the build. When Filot delivers a model or updates one, the consensus estimates and market data your team expects are already in it, populated in the cells they belong in rather than left as a step to do afterwards.
That makes the deliverable complete end to end, and it pays off twice. Teams build more models and update them faster. And they build them more completely — with the full depth and breadth of the data in the model, from financials and market data down to segment- and driver-level estimates.
The Formulas You Already Use
Capital IQ Pro and Visible Alpha are delivered in Excel as formulas, and that is where the friction lives. Finding the right code for the line item you want, pairing it with the right identifier, getting the period offset right — it is slow, easy to get subtly wrong, and it is work that has to be redone every time coverage expands.
That cost also rations depth. When every line item is a formula someone has to construct, models get built from the headline numbers first, and the full granularity of the data reaches fewer models than it should.
Filot has full knowledge of the formula bank and does that work for you. Ask for a segment build or a full historical, and the formulas land in the model correctly constructed the first time.
Because they are formulas rather than pasted values, the model stays live. It refreshes when the data does. That is the difference between a snapshot of the numbers and a model that keeps working after you close it.
S&P Capital IQ Pro and Visible Alpha join the filings, transcripts, and internal materials Filot already works from. Filot fits the data providers each team runs on, rather than asking anyone to move their data somewhere new.
What This Changes
Buy-side. Pull Visible Alpha's model-level consensus — segment revenue, margin assumptions, capex — straight into your build, and see why the street expects what it does, not just what it expects.
Sell-side. Read your estimates against consensus line item by line item, with the comparison live in the model rather than reconstructed each quarter.
Investment banking. Build comps and historicals from Capital IQ Pro data instead of transcribing filings, with every figure traceable to its source.
All of it happens inside the same Excel model, under the same validation controls and the same audit trail Filot applies to every output.
Available Now
The integration is live today at select firms that are mutual Filot and S&P Global Market Intelligence clients, running against their existing Capital IQ Pro and Visible Alpha entitlements.
If your firm is already licensed with S&P Global Market Intelligence, contact your Filot representative to have it enabled.

Verifying AI Output Shouldn't Take Longer Than the Work Itself
AI only saves time if you can verify its work efficiently. Filot audits at two levels, deterministic validation checks and granular cell-by-cell traceability, so analysts review AI-generated models at the speed of reading, not the speed of searching.
